Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey, in the Middle East, is strategically important region, with a history of significant and unusual similarities are. Including the fact that both countries have ancient civilizations and empires were very wide and throughout its history has always been that of ups and downs, sometimes these relationships, friendly and often accompanied by conflict. Both countries have always considered it a great regional power and in this regard, but rapprochement, both had serious competition.
The main question of this article is that due to the complex situation in the Middle East, that will likely change in the balance and regional trans-regional powers, which both countries claim to regional power, Iran and Turkey, to act as a dominant power in the region has more weight and will be in a better situation?
The authors, using descriptive and analytical methods, to investigate the components of regional power, to compare the position of regional power and argued against the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey in recent years, Turkey recently to steer away from politics " Reset to zero for the problems with neighbors" to create tensions with its neighbors like Syria and therefore likely to exacerbate conflict and conflict with other regional powers in the near future for this country is probable and predictable.
