Abstract
In today's age where cities and metropolises, especially frontier cities, play a major role in resolving international disputes because of the tightening of time and space due to increased communication and information in the global village, interactions between nations and governments and other actors in international relations. In this space, cities gain sufficient credibility to carry out diplomatic activities by promoting economic, political, security and cultural standing. Following the evolution of the international system and the various divisions that have been raised in diplomacy, we can point to a paradigmatic approach that nowadays emphasizes a new range of international actors, including state and provincial officials and officials, in line with central government goals for independence. they do. Therefore, some border towns, which share a market with other countries, are new components of the international system. Therefore, this article seeks to answer the question of whether paradigmatic approaches can be effective in expanding the relations and disputes of countries. The hypothesis raised in response to this question is that paradigm as an effective approach that emphasizes new actors in the international arena, especially in border towns, can play a significant role in resolving regional conflicts, expanding regional and even trans-regional and international interactions. . As a result, using this approach in West Azerbaijan as a case study, it is emphasized that the paradigmatic field needs to be further invested in academia and practice. This paper is based on the explanation of the paradigmatic approach and the descriptive-analytical method using library and internet resources.
