Abstract
Energy as a geostrategic variable has opened up a special place in power relations in the contemporary global system, and access to energy resources for all levels of the hierarchy of world power has become of strategic importance. Hence, each player in the global system is looking for a meaningful definition of their energy status in the world. Therefore, Iran, in the light of its considerable potential in the field of energy, is a focus of production and consumption and energy distribution. Meanwhile, Iran has an important place in global energy transformation by being the world's second largest strategic ocean center and having the second largest source of crude oil and natural gas in the world.
