The Quarterly Journal of International Relations Researches is a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal with open access and a double-blind peer review process, published in collaboration with the Iranian Association of International Studies in Tehran, Iran. The journal has been active since summer 2011 (1390) and, according to the license from the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, has been recognized as a scientific–research journal from its first issue.
The journal provides a platform for publishing original and high-quality research in global politics, international relations, regional studies, and strategic developments in the international system. Its primary goal is to advance scientific discourse nationally and internationally. The journal welcomes articles with analytical, critical, or theoretical approaches on topics such as:
Theories of international relations, history, and international politics
Foreign policy and Iran's external relations
International political economy
International security and strategic-military issues
Political issues in the Islamic world and developing countries
Political geography and geopolitics
Regional studies and international organizations
International regimes, conventions, and other related subjects
All published articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to facilitate proper citation and retrieval. The journal is published with open access, ensuring researchers, students, and policymakers worldwide can easily access the latest scientific findings.

Authors fully retain all moral and economic rights related to the publication of their articles. Any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, or misrepresentation will result in rejection of the article.
Authors must declare any real or potential conflicts of interest when submitting their manuscripts. Reviewers and editors will abstain from evaluation or decision-making in case of a conflict of interest. Transparency in declaring conflicts ensures scientific trust and enhances the journal’s credibility.

The journal is published with full open access. Articles are freely accessible online immediately upon acceptance (early view) and after print publication. Sharing, distribution, and use of articles are permitted as long as proper credit is given to the author and the journal.

All submitted manuscripts are checked using the IranDoc similarity detection system. The allowed similarity threshold is 14%. If plagiarism is detected in the main text or abstract, the article will be rejected immediately, and authors will be blacklisted for five years.
