Nowadays, with the disappearance of the bipolar system and the emergence of new global actors, the international system has undergone significant changes and transformations, leading all countries to seek an increase in their national power and an enhancement of their international standing. In this context, China, as an emerging great power and the world’s second-largest economy, seeks to compete and balance against the United States. To achieve this, China utilizes various components and elements that can enhance its national power. One of the most important elements in the modern era that can increase a country’s power and international prestige is participation in international crisis management, an area in which China has also been active. Accordingly, this research aims to examine the impact of China’s behavioral pattern in international crisis management on its national power. The primary research question is: how have China’s crisis management trends affected the enhancement of its national power? To address this question, the following hypothesis has been proposed: China’s behavioral pattern in crisis management—by adopting a non-security-oriented approach, responsible and rule-based behavior, and a belief in development within the framework of international security—has provided the grounds for increasing the country’s power and international status. This study employs a descriptive-analytical method, utilizing library resources, articles, and data collection aligned with the theoretical framework.
